A "brit" more about my Rosie

Rosie is originally from England and is asked about it everywhere we go. The funniest time ever was when we were out shopping in Chandler and the shop owner asked her, "Where are you from?" Without hesitation Rosie answerred, "Queen Creek." I was a short distance away when this all happened and had to walk away further so I could laugh out loud. I love her sense of humor (or is it humour, babe?)

Rosie is 5'10" and we won't go into weight (we all know about women and their weight), but suffice it to say she is on the slender side. I tease her that if she gets big I'll trade her in. While she isn't as big a game fanatic as I am she does enjoy playing Mexican Train, Sequence, and a few others. She enjoys fashion and designing homes which I might add she does very well considering our home was built prior to our marriage and it had a Bachelor pad feel becuase of it.

She likes to travel and has been through much of Europe. She served a church mission in the England London Mission and bless her she made it through the trials of her greenie area where she was less than an hour from home.

She enjoys time with family and friends and really enjoys beign an Auntie. She likes walking and hiking.

She feels that the opportunity to be a mother is the most important role she could play and looks forward to the day when she spends time at home with children. An attribute that she can certainly thank her mother for. While she can only occasionally get me to do dance with her it is something she enjoys doing as shown in the picture of her dancing on her fathers feet.

  1. Man, I'm so behind on your blog. All this new stuff to read... woo hoo! I love that cute picture of you with your dad, Rose! John says he's not much of a dancer but when he has his little girl look up at him and ask him to dance with her, he won't be able to resist. He'll do it with a smile on his face. I know because he is just like our Dad, and dad danced with all of us girls, with a smile on his face and he HATED to dance. I wish I had a picture like this with my dad. I can't wait for you two to be parents.
